Two hours plus to put it together, and the instructions are a bit difficult to follow, but can be figured out. No real wood in the desk, and the drawer bottoms are cardboard, but are pretty sturdy. As long as I don't spill water in them, they should be OK. The drawers are on very smooth glides, and the assembled desk looks very nice. The package includes some extra parts and a touch-up pen. However, in the end this is a fine looking piece of furniture. All parts were included, adequate instructions, good shipping protection and excellent hinges on the doors. Drawers fit and slide nicely. If you buying this desk you HAVE to place it against a wall other wise the unfinished ugly part will face everyone that comes in front.There is a reason why you can only see the front of the desk in the picture and not the back. The wood covered surface can be easily scratched, I suggest using a glass on top of this desk if you want to keep it looking nice for a while. |
